MUSCADET SÈVRE ET MAINE «CRUS COMMUNAUX»

Did you Know ?

The diversity of soils in the Nantes vineyards and their distinctive characteristics have led to the creation of Muscadets which express the high quality of their terroir. Gorges, Clisson, Le Pallet, Goulaine, Château-Thébaud, Monnières Saint-Fiacre et Mouzillon-Tillières  are all names of communes; the Muscadets made here are known as Crus Communaux,  and are made from specially selected vineyards in accordance with a strict set of specifications. They are rich, well-structured, complex and elegant, with excellent ageing potential - the perfect partners for haute cuisine.  There are currently 7 Crus Communaux, but others are on the way.
