Wine brotherhoods
Bacchic Brotherhoods are communities of like-minded people, passionate about wine, whose purpose is to showcase the skills and knowledge associated with wine and the culture of Bacchus. There are around 20 such brotherhoods promoting the wines of the Loire Valley today.

Purpose: To organise and host the Festival of St Vincent de Ruillé sur Loir every January. To respond to occasional invitations from organisers of local, cantonal or regional celebrations - notably wine fairs – to take part in their parades and other events, and to “enthrone” local personalities into the Brotherhood, dubbing them “Compagnons du Tirebouchon” - Companions of the Corkscrew.
Grand chapters: Organising, hosting and providing decoration for the Festival of Saint Vincent.
