TWELFTH NIGHT CAKE
- 2 sheets of flaky pastry
- 200 g of powdered almonds
- 125 g of sugar
- 125 g of butter
- 3 eggs
Mix the softened butter, sugar and powdered almonds together.
Add the eggs one by one.
Lay the first sheet of pastry on a tart dish, spread the preparation on top and add the traditional lucky charm.
Cover with the second sheet of pastry and pinch the edges of the two sheets firmly together.
Using a brush, smear the pastry with the yolk of an egg. Lattice the top with a knife, and put in the oven.
Once the cake has browned, take it out of the oven and tuck in!
