A TRIP IN THE LOIRE VALLEY VINEYARD FOR 10 WORLDWIDE WINE INSTRUCTORS
From 3rd to 5th October, the Loire Valley Vineyards had the pleasure of welcoming 10 wine instructors teaching around the world (United-States, Canada, Brazil, Ireland) in partnership with the Wine Scholar Guild. It was an opportunity to develop their knowledge on the 3rd wine region of France.
After a first day in the Vineyard around Nantes City, where our guests were able to discover the diversity of the range of Muscadets, direction to the Anjou’s Vineyard for discovering all the secrets of “kings grape” of the Loire, The Chenin. Grape variety allowing production of dry, soft, sweet and sparkling wines ... A wide range that expresses all the poetry and elegance of the Loire Valley!
The third day in the Loire Valley Vineyards, the 10 instructors were able to attend a tasting of reds, rosés and sparkling Loire Wines between Anjou and Touraine with a visit of Chenonceau castle to close "royally" this day.
Assessment of these 3 days: discovering of the diversity of Loire Valley Wines, in the same appellation, a great story to tell and a huge wealth to pass!
