126 Ligers d’Or (Gold), 192 Ligers d’Argent (Silver), 203 Ligers de Bronze (Bronze) medals were awarded at the Concours des Ligers, which took place on February 4th 2007 at the Parc des Expositions in Angers.

Organized as a prelude to the Loire Wines Show by the Union of French Winemakers the Concours des Ligers pays tribute to the best Loire Valley wines.

The jury was made up of 312 professionals (sommeliers, wine specialists, producers and journalists) who tasted and marked 2029 Liger wines (white, red, rosé and sparkling wines).

521 of the nominees were awarded a prize.
