It’s market day !
We bumped into friends, dawdled in front of the stalls each of which were more tempting than the last. We re-discovered some unusual, forgotten vegetables and decided to add them to this week’s menu. Home again, we start to unpack our bags, smelling, touching and commenting on what we’ve bought
We try a selection of little cheeses that the cheese seller told us so much about with a crusty piece of soft bread. We open one of the bottles selected for lunchtimes that we bought from the wine specialist  and pour ourselves a glass, just like that, surrounded by the rest of the shopping that we haven’t yet put away.
